Let's give a big hand to the Rangers for spanking the Yankees and sending them home Image Image Image

Yes I wondered it we liked the Rangers or we didn't like the Yankees.

I guess the answer to that will be when we see if there are chears for the Phillies (maybe Giants :x ) or Rangers.

Count me among the Giants fans.
But I agree with Doug, anyone who beats the Yankees is alright with me.

I was a 10-year old living near Atlanta when the Braves first came to town, and I've been a fan ever since, even in their "lean'" years. Even though the Giants beat the Braves in the first round, I still was glad to see them win last night. (Sorry Bruce, but it's someone else's turn. ).

In the World Series, I'm torn this year, as I'm normally always a National League fan, but I also wouldn't mind seeing the Rangers' first ever World Series win.

It ain't a "World" series until they let the Japanese and the Cubans play.

You're barking up a 107 year-old tree of tradition, there.

Look at many of MLB rosters and you will see that many Cubans and Japanese are playing, just not for Cuban or Japanese teams.

Here and I thought you fellers were talkin' about that famous Texas Ranger. You know, Walker. The guy who tried to shoot down a 170 with a sawed-off shotgun. Also known as Chuck Norris. And everybody knows a Cessna 170 can beat Chuck Norris.
