Wing Fairing Rub Strip

I'm going to replace the wing fairing rub strips. They are almost gone right at the windshield.
Part # 0520005-3 and 0520005-7
Is there a good source to buy them, or should I make some out of felt?
My hesitation with felt, even good quality wool, is that it may not stand up to water.

I replaced mine recently with felt - be careful to get the right thickness of felt - otherwise you will have trouble reinstalling the wing fairing. Felt seems to do the job just fine. I have taped over the leading edge where it joins the wind shield - reduced drafts as well as leaks.

Bill, genuine wool felt is exactly what you need! (And it stands up to years of water just fine.)

Thank you guys.
Seems like a real minor thing, but it protects the major windshield.

hi Bill, I used some camper tape (2" x 0.25" foam weatherstripping). stuck it to the fairings so it comes off with the fairing when I do inspections but otherwise stays put. works great, cheap, no drafts or chafing.

Any chance someone has the spec size for the wool?

Ace and True Value Aircrft-Supply sell felt in rolls. Cut it to size.

I was thinking more the thickness, than the length and width
