Bartone heater

Post by Jr.CubBuilder »

Does anybody have any comparitive experience with the heater performance of the Bartone exhaust vs the Hanlon Wilson setup? Also does anybody have a URL for the Bartone system, are they still available?

The Bartones are just exhaust pipe extensions. They clamp onto the existing HW mufflers so there should be no impact on the heating system at all. Simply replace the exhaust pipes/fangs with the Bartone pipes and the exhaust is routed out the opening at the aft end of the cowl instead of the regular exhaust holes at the bottom of the cowl.

And....Pat Bartone may still be contacted via his info in the membership directory. He reportedly no longer supplies the STC for his tailpipes and a field approval or other basis will be required. Contact him for details.

Ok thanks, I was thinking the Bartone replaced the entire system from the risers down.
