Hello, fellow 170 enthusiasts.
My name is Mike Dillon, I recently purchased a 1952 170B N2483D from a neighbor and am in the process of restoring it to airworthy condition. It was parked in dry hanger in North Texas for last 20 years so it became a nest for mud dobbers & other "critters. The logs are relatively complete but the airframe log center pages are missing for the 20 years it spent in various towns in Alaska. I have receipts & 337's for ski's & larger tires being installed & removed & the engine logs are complete. If anyone on the forum knows any additional history on the 170 I would surely love to hear about it. I am currently working my way thru a current annual & finding the airframe to be in relatively good condition & hope to have this girl flying again in the near future. Your forum & Association info has been a great asset in this process.

Welcome to the 170 Association Mike! You’ll find the Texas 170 bunch quite active.
