170a Lower Window Strap/strip replacement

Hey all -
I'm planning to replace my windshield this winter. Unfortunately the lower windshield strip will need to be replaced (someone at some point in history got a little carried away in paint removal and ground the aluminum too thin a a few spots).
I can't seem to find anyone who sells or fabricates this piece. Has anyone here replaced this piece, or know of where to source one?
