I ran across this ad on Craigslist and figured that someone on this forum could use these parts. I have no affiliation or interest in this listing, just passing it on for whoever needs this.
There are three horizontal stabilizers in the photo. The seller lists them as applicable to the 170, L-19, and 195. I have no idea if this is technically correct, or whether all three aircraft use the same stabilizer.

If you can't judge a book by it's cover, why are hardcover books more expensive?

I'm reasonably sure the 190/195 is a similar but larger horz. stab. last I compared. 170B only and L-19 are the same except for the "rocket launchers"

Bruce the dimensions on a 195 horizontal stabalizer and elevator are an exact match for my 170 I do know that the 195 has weights in the elevator which are not in the 170. It could be intersting to compare part #s sometime if someone has a 195 parts book. Bill K

Re: PSA: Cessna 170 / L-19 horizontal stabilizers
First thing you should notice when comparing a 190/195 stabilizer and elevator is that the elevator is not the same shape as an 170B or L-19 but is the same shape as the !70 and 170A. I thought I had decided that the elevator however has more span that a 170/170A and therefor the stabilizer would also. Now Bill you tell me the stabilizer span is the same as your 170 so maybe the 190/195 and 170/170A stabilizer and elevators might be interchangeable with weight changes.
If this is the case then since a 170/170A stabilizer/elevator combination are not the same as the 170B and L-19 then the 190/195 combination would also not be the same as a 170B and L-19.
