2012 C170 Calendars - Now Shipping!

Post by doug8082a »

Hi Folks,
I know I haven;t been very active this year, but YES I'm still doing the calendars.

I am now taking orders for the 2012 Cessna 170 Calendar. This is a professionally printed 13 month calendar (12/11 - 12/12) with photos supplied by fellow 170 owners.

This is a personal project on my part, however, ALL profits over and above my costs for printing/shipping will be donated to TIC170A.

United States and Canada Orders
For all orders from within the United States (including Alaska and Hawaii) and Canada - $13 (USD) per calendar.

International Orders
For all orders from outside the United States and Canada - $16 (USD) per calendar.

Order/contact info:
My email address is "mowryd@hotmail.com", so feel free to contact me if you have a question. My phone number is in the TIC170A members directory, so you can also call me if you wish.

If you wish to mail a check, please make it out to "Douglas Mowry" and mail it to :
Douglas Mowry
PO Box 791
Douglas, MA 01516

I also accept Paypal @ "mowryd@hotmail.com" if you prefer.

When ordering please include the following:
Name
Shipping address
Quantity requested
Some method of contact (email, phone, etc.) in case there are any hangups.

If you are unfamiliar with Paypal but want to use it, proceed as follows:
Go to http://www.paypal.com - click "Send Money", on the right is a box entitled "Send Money" - follow the instructions to register (it's free) and send your payment to "mowryd@hotmail.com". There is a place for you to include a note to indicate your order quantity and shipping information.

International orders will also be accepted, however, please keep in mind that this is a U.S. calendar with U.S. holidays. The ability to gaze at beautiful C170s throughout the year should outweigh any inconvenience caused by non-applicable or missing holidays!

My 2012 calendars arrived today. Thanks again, Doug! This is a beautiful one with a backcountry theme -- not a paved runway or apron in sight, all year long! Nice touch: the cover matches the photo on the 2011 calendar page for December. I'd sure love to know where some of those strips are located!

John, Miss November's picture was taken at Marble, CO. Let me know when you're going to be out here and we'll fly on over. The runway is usually ok sometime after Memorial Day, I think.

Hmmm... is that a runway I see, southwest of town? 8000' elevation? Wouldn't want to go in there heavy with 145HP! :D

Still, maybe another reason to attend the meet in Longmont!

Yes, that's the runway squeezed between CO Rd 3 and the river. If you zoom in you can see a few airplanes parked and one on the runway. I don't know how a stock 170 would do, but it was no problem with 3 aboard in my 180hp on an upper-70s September day.

Thanks Everyone. Yes, there are plenty left. I'll be heading to the post office again Saturday and probably again next week.

Glad you are all enjoying them! Thank you to everyone who sent in photos!
