Brakes !

Another sad reminder to STAY OFF THOSE BRAKES when landing. Turf is very forgiving, but not THAT forgiving...

I wear a size 13 shoe which sometimes move up on the peddles by mistake. This weekend while landing I accidently got my foot caught on the tab that is on the side of the peddle and mistakenly applied a little break when I was meaning to apply only rudder. It got my attention REAL quick as the tail started to come up. 8O That was not the first time and I’m sure it will not be the last but pictures like this remind me to keep my “heals on the floor.”

Have you tried removing shoes and fly in socks or barefoot.
