A VP gets 3 miles around his house and there is a reasonable ceiling. The President gets 30 miles around him at all times and there is no ceiling we can fly over. Big difference.Stankasica wrote:The tfr’s should be pretty much the same as when he was vp.

Well. This is sure getting to be a pain. Airport is getting shut down for 3 days every other weekend and is getting no financial help. Seems like with ads b they could be a little more accommodating to the local air traffic but there is absolutely no interest from the feds. Bill K

Things must really be getting rough in DC. He's coming home almost every weekend. Airport has had to cancel the annual airshow for the next four years because they have no schedule for when he won't be in town. Still no financial help for anyone. I pity the FBO and flight school. Bill K

Seems like a lot of intercepts, tough on local flying.
The aviation director of New Garden Township and manager at the Flying Field at New Garden Airport says his Chester County-based airport is just inside the no-fly zone and about five to six aviation intercepts have happened every time the president comes home on the weekend to Wilmington.
