New Member Introduction
Hi Everyone,
I'm a new member and new owner of my first Cessna 170. Last week I flew home N2446D from Larkspur, CO to its new home in Ohio. Its a 1952 Cessna 170B model.
I've already found this community very helpful in learning about my new airplane. I'm sure I will have many questions regarding the care and feeding of this bird and it is nice to have a community to answer questions.
I've attached a picture of N2446D just before a dawn departure from Decatur, IL on the flight home.
Thank you,
Ben Pinkerton

Very nice. Congratulations. I saw that advertised and have seen pictures of it before then. I own its “sister Ship” 2444D which is why it caught my eye. All the best. Enjoy!

Welcome to the Association Ben! If you ever want to stretch your legs a bit, I’m about 1.5 hours north of you at 45G in SE Michigan. As of right now, out Fly-In/Cruise-In is still on for August 8. Our flyout group gets to the Tin Goose at Port Clinton a few times a year, and have even ventured as far south as JJ’s BBQ at Bolton on the west side of Columbus.

Thank you all for the warm welcome! I'm glad to be here.
Here are a couple of pics I took just before the flying it home. Unfortunately, my hangar is far from my home right now so I will have to take more next time I visit the plane.
