How much Radium is in your Drinking Water?

Post by GAHorn »

Things are looking slow for a moment so I thought I'd throw this out there....

I tossed some old instruments into my "burning-hole" out here on the ranch... I'm on a private well about 100 yds and 220 feet deep from that hole...which got me to thinkin' whether I should go pull them back out or not...

Click on the interactive map to see how much Radium is in some public water sources.

The EPA maximum in water is 5 pCi/L (5 picoCuries per Liter).

An originality nut (mostly) for the right reasons. ;)

I use my cache of old instruments as bookends and decorations. AN gyros work particularly well for it.
