Wing Nav lights

Post by slimmorstad1 »

I'm coming close to my 3 year rebuilding project of 4526C. My wing tip light assembles are rusted beyond repair, I found that the part numbers have changed to C622001-0102 and -0202. I've only found them at cessna parts for 1,300.00 each. So would the smart thing would be buy Orion 650 for 525.00 and for get locating the original assembly unless someone knows where to find them, or a better way to go with LED lights. Thanks for any help.

I used the Orion 600's on my 182, I liked that they had the rear facing white nav light, and were very bright, I believe the 650 have the same LED's without the rear facing light.

I just installed Whelen Orion 650’s and really like them.

I have my old lights I would sell for $100 for the pair.

If you have not yet installed ADS-B OUT equipment... you might consider replacing your Nav Lights with uAvionix SkyBeacon and SkySensor units.

Anyone who have recently done that likely have a set of Nav Lights available for very attractive prices. The TradeMart is the appropriate place to make one’s recently-removed Nav Lights available for sale. (Doug has not violated any rule in this thread as his offer is in response to the OP... just want to make that clear.... not criticizing his post.)

An originality nut (mostly) for the right reasons. ;)
