Re: Cessna 210 Starter Slow New Battery, New Starter still s

New starter, new starter adapter, new cables, added a ground to engine block, and it's still not
turning it over well. I am going to take it to the recyclers soon.

Re: Cessna 210 Starter Slow New Battery, New Starter still s

Ok, now I am really lost. All new wires and I have the same result. Tried jump starting from my truck and starter spins faster/harder but minimal rotation. I am wondering if it can be in the angle drive like George said. Possibly a spring in there or something?

Cessna 210 Starter Slow New Battery, New Starter still slow

My aircraft recently quit charging, additionally after pulling the alternator and having it tested (was fine), and replacing the voltage regulator the starter doesn't seem to have enough power to turn over the engine properly. I tried two different batteries, removed both RF filters, replaced all th...

Re: Apple/Android?

Bruce is right on... As for the "don't I get charged for the data on my iphone". The question is yes and no... When I had unlimited data on my ATT Iphone I had it jailbroken to do the "Personal Hotspot" at no charge to me. (This is a whole other discussion) Now I have a Verizon I...

Re: Apple/Android?

You have to by one with the 3g because it has the "assisted GPS" in it. If you don't you won't get GPS capability without attaching something to it. Now here is the trick, you DO NOT have to buy a data plan for the ipad. Just buy the more expensive one either, (Verizon or ATT, it doesn't m...

What could this cap be used for?

What could this capacitor be used for? The hot wire was pulled out of its home when I found it. All the old wiring in the airplane was just cut off and left in the airplane, so I am playing hunt for what this was for. There isn't much in my 210F that could use it. I have a Bendix King KX155 nav/com ...
