I had hard lines all the way to the caliper and was having issues with the line holding the caliper away from the disc on one side. I would have to pump the brakes a couple of times to "re-seat" the caliper before the brake on the left side of the plane would work. No cracks in the lines, ...

I bought a bag of these buttons at Oshkosh a couple of years ago. On my plane they are also used to secure the aft cargo divider.

OK, I finally have enough new information to share. Turns out all 12 of the cylinders I got from Russ Farris and Forrest Walton were sent to Triad Aviation in Burlington, NC for evaluation. They said that 6 of the 12 were already bored out .015" and had no more to "give" so they were ...
