I just recently scheduled my plane for the GDL82 and was quoted about 2500.00 installed. Now I am going to try for the new rebate as an additional credit.

Great story. It is great when people have exclusive trust in others such as you have earned.

My thoughts when I replaced my o-ring was that it was a square type o-ring. I replaced with a special oil round o-ring.

I have an ACR older unit and never had to use it. I register every couple years when I am notified to re-register it from SARSAT.

Re: '48 Fuel pump one way valve
This is how my valve has been ever since I know. I will see if I can find my extra valve I bought years ago and bring it to the convention.
Had to edit the Fuel Pressure gauge line. I have the valve for reference. Thanks Gary for my lack of attention.

Here is a very good source for instrument repair. They even repair antique instruments for vehicles.

You can shorten heli-coils. You just want a couple coils to hold. We use them a lot.

Just pile the ash outside for when we get icy, frozen snow and use the ash for traction. It is just as good as sand.
Yes, I agree that coal or wood stoves are great but take time to start.

I found on my 48 the hose between the firewall and inside next baffle was broken and had little heat. It is a short jumper. I have the scoop on the front engine baffle.
