Tach cables are directional either left lay or right lay depending on the direction of the Tach.
Have your A&P look at Spruce 10-16800 R or L as an example to see if you have the correct cable.

This year there were storms on Saturday night 7/23 and perfect wx the rest of the week. Low of mid 50's in the AM and high in the low 80's. Always great to see you Jim and have a safe trip home. Next year (2023) we plan to have over 100 170's parking together for the "Cessna 170 Vintage Reunion" celebrating 75 years. See you there.

There were 50 170's registered and on the field this year. One won an award but I didn't record the tail number.

McFarlane Throttle Cable MC0411091-2 uses "wedge washers" that angle the cable slightly to the right.
