Exactly, they roll the end over. If you want to borrow them let me know thru a pm with shipping address. I will get them out to you. I would suggest at least ordering one extra rivet.

Re: Rivets for Control Yokes
If I remember correctly the correct lengths are expensive. I ordered longer from Preferred Air Parts NOS and cut them down. Measure the hole in the end and duplicate it after cutting to proper length. I have the proper dies for setting if you need them.

Re: Oshkosh grand champion
Last year I spoke briefly to Dillon on his Silver win. I was very impressed with him. He seemed very humble. His parents should be very proud. Congratulations.

Re: Random Questions
Thanks Ryan. Another option if you were to paint that area are some flush patches. A good sheet metal person and yourself would be the only two who would know.

Re: Random Questions
Thanks for the compliment (I think) sometimes trying to make things perfect can get expensive and annoying. I think it's a sickness but it's to late in life to get treatment.

Re: Random Questions
Replacing that sheet is a major operation. It goes under the windshield and is also the glare shield. So the windshield would have to come out and rivets shot back in some hard to get access to areas with instruments installed. The engine might also have to be removed or at the least stay on a engin...

Re: Aft Tail Skin Fabrication
I am not sure the year of your 170 but I had a 52 which I did the same skin replacement. While in the area I added 2 bulkhead doublers which mine did not have. They can be found on page 48, item 22, #0512118-8(R)-9(L) Might be worth looking at.

Re: Our 1956 Cessna 170 photo documentation
Might not matter but Aircraft Kit AK7053-14 shows installation of 2nd venture. Both on right side over top of each other. The documentation is dated 1956.

Re: **** New Family Member ****
As Fred mentioned I have sold my 52 170B to him. I realized between time, and finances to finish the plane the way I wanted was not realistic. I also have a 1947 Stinson I am flying and maintaining. I have had many sleepless nights thinking about parting with the 170 but after meeting Fred I feel ve...

User Fees
This is a easy way to voice your objection to back door user fees. I suggest everyone use the link below. If you love general aviation take action otherwise it could be another nail.

Re: From the EAA forums…. The EAA gave in.
As many as possible should send a short email stating disapproval of EAA actions. Load the in-box. Maybe next year they will come up with a better solution. I don't know the liability issues but EAA is big on volunteers. How many retired controllers would love that vacation. The regulars would be on...
