Intake air leak(s) can cause popping.

Gary I think inverting the old track and riveting would difficult to buck . I think I would add an alum doubler instead if concerned. I don't have anything under the floor and no issue with the McFarland tracks. McFarland also makes a gage to verify per the latest AD revision. The 182 would still pa...
