Did you have to do anything about the "Air on Ground" errors? Or has Appareo updated their software to fix this?

Many 170s have these. It's certainly worth calling them.

Sporty's will sell you a cooling unit for your iPad to prevent this condition. I have a friend who liked the idea, but he is building one himself for tons less cost. It's not a 170, but I have this setup in my Swift. Despite the reflection of hangar ceiling lights in the photo, I never get any glare or visibility problems on the screen in flight. I'm using it with a Stratus ADS-B receiver.
