Cessna 170 software for flight simulator

Does anyone know how I can get hold of a copy of the software of a Cessna 170, once sold by Alpha Sim? I am recuperating from hand surgery, and I am flying my PC rather than our 170 B, at least until my hands are pronounced fit by my Doctor, and the snow receeds from in front of our hangar door. I a...

Tailwheel Track

We currently have a steel tailwheel track in the hangar that we rent at Alexandria Field. We are moving to a house with a hangar on a private airport and are looking for a similar track. Does anyone know what this is called and where we could get one? Thanks. Lou and Pat La Salle

To Tailpilot, I agree with Beeliner. 10 degrees on down wind, second notch on base, and 1500 or so rpm's to keep you on approach. I rarely use full flaps for landing, as they make my 52' B stone like. But they do make for a slow and short landing if you are inclined. I go flapless for takeoff, unles...

You can walk anywhere on Tangier Is. But, you have to try Mrs. Crockett's Inn for a Crab Cake and Crab Fritter lunch, witj Corn Pudding as a dessert. You will like it. Or, go to Kentmoor, a private strip, just south of Bay Bridge,Md. there is a marina i block away freom the field. Their food is awes...

Welcome Judd! Isn't flying a taildragger interesting. Timely stabs at the individual brake, can go along way to preventing groundloops. Keep your feet moving on the rudders.

George,

I missed it. I am fairly well unconcious sometimes. I should be glad that you didn't send me a snake.

I would perfer the S-tec 20, but I can live with the Century 1.

Thanks

Ole Pokey, Thanks for the information! I am going to start the process of getting an AP for our B. It may take a while, after justing having spent big $$$'s, on a restoration and paint job. I think it will be a handy gadget tohave to lighten my work load. I only get bumped around when I am trying to...

Thanks George. Do you know makes the Century 1? I thought that it was S-tec, but couldn't find it anywhere. Since my plane came back from the paint shop the rigging has changed. That will be corrected at annual. But some times it would be nice just to relax for a while and let George drive. (The oth...

Autopilot for a 170B

Does anyone know which, if any autopilot(s), are available and legal for a 1952 170B.

I just went thru the S-Tec list, and they have STC's for every Cessna ever made, except the 170. I think that that's discrimination.

Is there any information out there?

Thanks

John,

Did you get your a/c from a Dr. that used to keep it at Alexandria Field?
Is it a White rag-wing?
