Re: ADS-B Rebate re-introduced and tailBeacon info

I ordered the Skybeacon nav light unit back in july. I finally got a notification yesterday that it has shipped. I'm putting it on my PA-28. I'm hoping to get a Tailbeacon when they are ready for the 170B. I've been very frustrated with the uAvionix delays. But, i'm happy to finally be on my way ADS...

Re: What’s the story of how you got your 170?

Dad had a 170B N2811C (fellow member owned now) when i was a kid. Around 2010 I finally decided to get an airplane and it was a 170B. Found a nice one in California and rode the big iron out to bring her home. Was a great flight, took dad with me and we had a great trip back to Alabama.

Re: Cessna 170 owner once again.

Bill,

Congrats!!! Welcome back from another alabama native. I'm at KDCU Decatur. Frequently fly to lunch at KCMD to "the Prop" diner located on the field. Great place to take that grandson of yours for a hamburger.

All the best,

Re: Windows 8, Windows 8, what about it we don't apprectiate

Installing start menu 8 brings back the classic start menu.

http://www.iobit.com/update/startmenu8/index.php#

It's an add on but I deploy it on all the computers where the users are unable to adapt to change.

Enjoy!

Re: John Barrett is a brave man

Thanks for sharing. Everyone that I have met from the association has been great!

Question, the prop on this 170, what length is it? It looks longer to me..

Thanks,

Re: New Gadget

I have ordered the new iPad mini with retina display and A7 processor. The iPad mini is the perfect size for aviation in my opinion. I can't wait to have the better screen resolution on the new model. I run foreflight on the iPad and find it to be a great application for flight planning.
