A side note here to a similar situation. I have the 180hp conversion, so I have an electric fuel pump and fuel pressure gauge in the panel. I have a copper line from the firewall to my fuel pressre gauge. I think it would be a good idea to replace that with a flex line also.

I used to run Goodyear 4 grooved 8.50 recaps. I would v the groove. Figured if it was wider than it was deep there was less tendancy to pickup stones and wing em at my aluminum.

I would recommend against any shoulder harness that permenantly attaches to the lap belt. When I flipped my 180, I had no problem releasing the lap belt but was still stuck hanging upside down by the lap belt/shoulder belt connection. Yes, not all U yokes are the same. I bought one from a guy here and the yoke shafts are quite a bit farther apart. No bueno por cheet
