Re: Helicopter trip. A bit of topic

Bruce,
I'm saddened to hear of your situation. :( Your efforts in selfishless help is truly an unsung hero!
Most people won't realize this until it's their turn for immediate help.
God bless and warmest of wishes with your venture forward. A good man, as yourself, can not be stopped! :D

Moultonboro NH (5M3)

Spent a couple days visiting my daughter's family in Wolfeboro, NH for the Thanksgiving holidays. The old Wolfeboro strip on Lake Winnipesaukee has been sold for Custom Homes with a beautiful view, but Moultonboro is still active! Took a ride up and sure enough, alive and well! I'll post pic's of a ...

I have to agree with BL! :)
Sometimes it takes a 'trained eye' to solve even a simple issue. There is no substituting experience!

Re: Always carry a spare if you have one

Bruce, You carry a spare tailwheel and spring? 8O I had the unfortunate experience of snapping my leaf spring at the housing during a grass taxi to take off. Luckily I was at a friends field and he had one for a 170! It didn't fit! But I made it fit to get me home. Went to the local leaf spring shop...

Re: STC Tailwheel 172 Conversion

My 172 has the Bolin conversion. It has its own type of tailwheel mount. Long. Fuselage also has extra striffeners riveted inside the length of the fuselage from behind the back seat to the tail.
I won't be at the hangar until this week end. I'll post some pics afterwards.

Re: Endorsement

Well what can I say? I ask for help and opinions, then bark and get offensive when I don't get what I want. I've had time to slow down and think and have become ashamed of my actions. Thanks to all of you that have been there with your views and helpfulness. I had absolutely no right what-so-ever to...

Re: Endorsement

Sorry George. I don't buy it. It's his solo x-country time and training time in "DADDY"S AIRPLANE" that isn't being considered. And if it's just because she has a problem with it I say she's not the only one out there. The instructor who has flown and taught him in "DADDY&...

Re: Endorsement

You make a lot of sence, Bruce. It's his solo time recorded in doubt. I should have said that he had gotten a few hours training in the tailwheel 172 by a vetran instructor. Short field, cross-wind, 2 different grass fields. Slo-flite control and check-outs at other airports. His young instru...
